Tonight at 10pm Pacific time (1am Eastern), live from scenic Tukwila, Washington, three titans of indie webcomic cyber-art TEAM UP. Their objectives?
- To watch WEIRD MOVIES!
- To draw WEIRD THINGS… for YOU!!!
It’s a Bad Movie Night Special Presentation: LATE NITE MOVIES ‘N’ COMMISSIONS!

THAT’S RIGHT, if you’ve ever wanted something drawn by either R.B. of Devour Comics, Partydog of Lamezone, or Ian Jay of, er, Ian Jay Super Comics, now is the time to throw money at us and demand things. Ask for a specific artist or for a collaboration between two or even all three! Get your dumb fox-in-raver-pants character drawn by a seasoned alternative comix pro! We’re ready and willing to take your artistic ideas to the NEXT LEVEL.
AS FOR THE FLICKS: tonight’s first feature is VIVA VHS!, a riveting compilation of videocassette footage from the massive archives of Seattle’s own Scarecrow Video. We’re following that with THE AMERICAN ASTRONAUT, a surrealist sci-fi western rock musical by the Billy Nayer Show— it’s a little like a really demented version of Firefly with some catchy tunes mixed in. Our mic will be on, so I guess you’ll be getting our “commentary” as well.
If you’re strung out on little to no sleep, why not get something drawn that you’ve wanted for a long time… WHILE you watch something really weird and entertaining? Come on down to LATE NITE MOVIES ‘N’ COMMISSIONS, starting… very very soon, actually!
