A really cool piece I got commissioned to do recently: a custom slipcover for a DVD set of King Of The Hill: Season 9. The commissioner was really open to creative interpretation, so I came up with a couple different ideas and went ahead with the weirdest one. I really like how it came out.

Chambered nautilus tattoo design for my sister Jillian. This one matches the blue-ringed octopus tattoo design I did for her a while back, and will go on whichever foot is the one she didn’t get the octopus tattooed on. I think the left? Whatever. I design tattoos, it’s pretty rad.

First of the pre-order commissions done! The client wanted a little cartoony picture of a Spanish fly to use as a tattoo design.
FUN NATURE FACT: Spanish flies are REAL insects, btw— also known as “blister beetles”, they secrete a poisonous chemical called cantharidin as a defensive mechanism. This chemical causes skin to swell and blister, and can be lethal if swallowed, but people have been using it since ancient Roman times as an aphrodisiac due to it making… other things swell. You can also use it to treat warts!
