another datamosh badge, this time of Partydog’s character Dildom Andes. I feel like this one is a lot more successful than last night’s attempt for several reasons:
- production time: 1 hour, 15 minutes. a lot more reasonable.
- line art is a lot more defined against the colored background. might take away a little from its “glitchiness” but definitely enhances readability.
- color scheme is a lot more streamlined. character has one or two “highlight” colors that define his shape through all the digital crud. not as many weird “accents” cluttering the composition.
- finished picture is completed and PRINTED at 72 dpi, which runs against every one of my production instincts but which keeps production time down and makes “glitchy bits” a lot easier to pull out.
i will probably go back and rework puppytube’s badge once i do a couple more of these, unless he’s really attached to how it is now. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? would you buy one of these??
